Requirements for Joining the GFSJ Club

1. Attend a Wrench-O-Thon (WOT) and wrench on other rigs. Your own rig must not be wrenched on at this WOT.
2. Attend one other club event.
3. Pay $10.00 upon joining for the website, and agree to pay an additional $10.00 whenever the website rental is about to expire. Please note that all membership dues are committed to maintaining this website. No dues are ever kept by any member of the club.
4. You must own or use a Full Size Jeep

In order to join the club; merely watch the forums on this website and attend the two events. Once you have fulfilled requirements one and two; you will receive an invitation to join the club. Accept the invitation and send your $10.00 to the webmaster; and then you're in.

The current webmaster is: 24tesla.
You may locate the webmaster's full contact information by registering on these forums and then looking up 24tesla's member record through the "Members" link at the top of the web page.

Details for remaining in the GFSJ Club

Once you are a member; the requirements for maintaining membership are the same as joining. As long as you attend 2 club events per year and you pay the $10.00 dues whenever the website renewal is required; that's all it takes.
Renewal Note: The website costs $7.77 per month and our GFSJ.org name registration is $15.00 per year. As long as there are at least 12 members that are paying the $10.00 renewals; renewals will be required no more than once per year.

Details for GFSJ Club Decisions

As a member you have an equal voice in club actions and operations. Because the club does not have officials; decisions are put to a vote.

Votes must be passed by 80% of club members in order for them to take affect. If 80% of all club members are in attendance at an event and they vote in favor of anything; then the proposal may be passed. If 80% of the club members are not in attendance at the event, then the vote must be posted to the discussion forums for a duration of 2 weeks. After 2 weeks if 80% of those that voted are in agreement, then the proposal may be passed.

Membership in the club does not imply anything more than your support of this website. If you choose to join and participate with the club, you assume all personal liability and participate at your own risk.

Anyone is able to join the GFSJ.org discussion forums. Membership in the forums does not constitute membership in the club.

Anyone is invited to participate at club events, regardless of membership status.

Amendments

### Article AA ###
If a member in good standing sells their only or last FSJ he may remain in the GFSJ Club so long as they meet the following stipulations.

1. Said member may not work on nor receive work on their vehicle at a WOT.
2. Said member may not at anytime give reason why their new vehicle is better than an FSJ (unless said member just conquered an obstacle that the top two rigs in the group could not).
3. Said member must bring donuts to WOTs.
4. Said member must endure endless and often ill witted hazing from "full members" and may only retaliate at 75% of said member's ability.
